I remember the media reported her resignation in early April 2016, she maintained silence for a couple of weeks. Then both BK and her came out and clarified she was not leaving. Later on I heard that fatso tried to fire her.
I agree that she messed up iCDG. Would be interested to see what happens when Apple eventually develop their own modem and integrate with their Axx processor.

AE made a mess out of the org, put many incompetent people in high positions, didn't have any consistent strategy etc.
