Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

To Avaya HR, Compliance or Security

Can you please take some strict action against the people who are writing blogs on this website? They are creating nuisance and blaming the managers and leaders. Avaya managers are working day in and out to make it a better place to work. We are trying our best to give the best possible salary hikes to employees. What else you need guys? Focus on work please.

there is more to a job than just a pay hike...i want a manager to develop me, i want a manager to encourage me, i want a manager to have my back, Avaya has a bunch of yes men left, all they care about is saying yes to the guy above him. It takes very little for a manager to say good morning to his staff, it takes very little for a site to update all of the staff on that site and takes very little for those sites to stop the power plays about who's more senior, realize you are all the same company and start working towards tomorrow. Avaya is losing some very good people over the next few weeks, knowledge that is irreplaceable, but those at the top have one objective, cut costs. They don't care about the product, they don't care about the customer external and internal. The marketing department should start their marketing campaign among their own staff first, understand what makes up each site Avaya has, set up a road show with relevance and get the staff engaged. I want to work for Avaya but they make it very hard to want to stay. We need someone with vision at the top, i can't see our CEO being in place once we come out of chapter 11 (and we will), we need someone who see's the very good pieces of software we make and invest in making that the core, rather than the current VP's who are dinosaurs playing catch up. Zang is a load of you know what, Go back and look at your legacy products you bought from Nortel, the customer base for those is huge but you aren't investing the money, you are trying and failing to bring those customers on to the next Avaya product. but we'd rather lose the customer than find another solution. I'm in for another month and if i don't hear anything positive about our future i'm out, there are opportunities out there for those who want them.

"Focus on work, please"? Give me a break. Everyone with a brain is focussed on job interviews and getting out of Avaya as quickly as possible as soon as suitable employment becomes available. Look at the news out of the trade show - there's nothing being sold other than Zang/Esna, which they hope is going to save the company. The version I used a year ago was embarrassingly bad, but the same could be said of a lot of Avaya's telephony products.

If the posts here bother you, why are are you reading them? Why did you seek them out?
