My question to the Dearborn Life HR person...........if my job is getting eliminated, why do I have to train a HCL replacement? No answer. They put HR people who had no clue what was going on to tell us we where getting fired. They read from a script. Lovely

Oh, it got worse than that. We were forced to "train" people and say they were qualified when they weren't. Now I am seeing job posting that are remarkably similar to jobs that were eliminated but with slight twists that make it impossible to get rehired.
This comment from Steiner on video, at a townhall says it all: "As full-time retiring baby boomers move on to their next chapter, the makeup of our organization will consist more of young and non-traditional workers, such as part-time workers or contractors," and yep, I heard her say that. What she didn't say was that older workers were being PUSHED out the door, and lost retirements benefits for which they were eligible when they hit ten years
