Has anybody received invoices from Cobra?, I believe we have to start paying monthly starting this December. thanks

Thanks to -1sll and -1cwp for the info. I also called today and was told the same - bill was mailed yesterday and we're given extra 30 days grace period for it, so the deadline is now end of Jan. For those who were unemployed or retired but not yet qualified for Medicare should consider the option from healthcare.gov,

I called Benefits today and was told that the billing invoices were mailed out on Tuesday, Nov. 22nd. Evidently, you can actually pay online through the health site as well. If you want to send in the payment, you can call and get the billing info and address on your own. The Benefits rep told me that we actually have until Jan. 30th to make the first payment. She did say that typically payments were due at the beginning of the month, so it might be good to confirm all of this. I have interesting situation since I will be going on my spouse's health care plan on Jan 1st. If I do not need to make a payment until Jan. 30th, I may just not pay it unless I have a billable health event that will cost more than the monthly premium.

I am ERP and my COBRA is paid through June 2018 at NO cost to me due to my circumstances (single and the plan I picked).
You, apparently, were ISPed if you're talking about $9K in cash given to you.

COBRA was free for 6 months with the $9K in cash. That was the default. You had to manually inform them you wanted 12 month paid COBRA,

Intel screwed up again. After multiple calls to Hewitt they finally said they had a computer glitch (oh the irony here or just flat out lying!) and that somehow no bills were sent out or generated like they were suppose to be by Nov 10th. So people who still need Cobra could get their payments in on time by the Dec 1st due date. After telling me a week ago they were sending a manually generated bill, when I called back today noting still NOTHING, then said it was generated until yesterday, so won't arrive until next week!
They did say there is a grace period on the Dec 1st due date until Dec 30th but not sure I believe them. Wondering if this is a tricky way for Intel to try to get everyone dropped from their Cobra insurance after just 6 months.
Suggest calling Hewitt ASAP and getting it logged that you never got a bill in case they do cancel the insurance.

hmmmm... I'm guessing you folks are ISPed? I ERPed and it's free through next year is why I'm guessing that. Otherwise, I might have a surprise in store for me if I'm wrong. lol

I'm also waiting for my bill. Just logged on to 'My Health Benefits' website and cannot find my bill there, but they do have an option for signing up for direct debit. Guess I have to call in the next few days if I still don't have the paper bill.
