What a joke of a company.
Good for them! Swindled Intel out of $250M

The unbroken streak of useless acquisitions continues!

Funny how the six year olds in the Intel CPU teams couldn't come up with the VISC concept. Or maybe they did and knew it was BS!
Actually, this is a good acquisition for Intel on many levels. A six year old can see that, but not an angry laid off Intel ex-worker I guess
Or Angel Soft.
maybe they thought they were buying Softbank?
One thing I can guarantee is that there is no 'talent' at soft machines. They are a bunch of ex-Intel rejects.
Stupid, stupid acquisition. Place another failure on BK's resume so he can lie about it.
Intel does acquisitions like these for three reasons:
Take out competition
Buy up some new talent
Buy up some new IP that they may (but likely will not) incorporate into future products
The only guarantee is that the current Soft Machine silicon/design will never again see the light of day.
Anyone want to start up a BS company with me. We'll sell to the rubes at Intel and make a ton of money!
Better not try to bring me back @efr (ERPer). I wanted to go and waited for a package for over a year after becoming eligible. I wanted OUT, but with a pocketful of change. :)
BK believes making Intel great again is served when people review his actions and say "Oh Great."
What an encouraging initiative by the CEO!!!
BK will make Intel great again :-)
No need for ACT2 in 2017, will bring back all ISP / VSP / ERP ... will pay them more :-)
Best CEO, BoD ever.
They can't even do competent vetting.
They have an army of CPU experts and not a single one was probably involved to call bullsh1t on this company. Otherwise they would not have bought these fraudulent claims.
Desperate times are a time for mindless actions, LOL
