If you have any books checked out of the campus LRC, the fine has been increased to $15 per day/item. You can quickly rach up some serious charges, so return all your books ASAP. The dean CANNOT waive these charges.

Spoke to Cigna, it was a paperwork glitch on their part, meds are shipping, insurance is still in effect.

I was laid off from ITT in July. My benefits ended at the end of the day I was laid off. I went straight to the pharmacy, the same day and begged to get all refills completed that I would need for 30 days. Good luck to all of you. It is not fun finding health insurance, unemployment benefits and finding a new employer.

I'm sure KM and his "C" level executives are carefully studying the following:

I BELIEVE IT ENDS IMMEDIATELY (WOULD ITT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY)

The last day of your employer-based health insurance coverage depends on end date of your last day of employment - regardless of whether you are terminated or you quit. Some guidelines allow the coverage to continue through the end of the month, while others call for coverage to end on the last day of employment. Contact your ex-employer’s benefits administrator to learn your last date of coverage.

At this point in time, you should be eligible for COBRA health insurance coverage.Under COBRA, if you voluntarily resign from a job, you’re entitled to continue your employer's group plan for up to 18 months at your own expense.

Your ex-employer’s benefits administrator should contact you or provide you with a packet explaining how to enroll in COBRA coverage. If you don’t want to wait for that to happen, be proactive and contact the benefits administrator about it.

If you find COBRA coverage too costly, you can shop the health insurance marketplace since losing your job-based health insurance coverage makes you eligible for a special enrollment period that generally lasts up to 60 days after the triggering event (like quitting your job).

Publicly traded companies often file for bankruptcy at the weekend for a number of logistical reasons. ESI did not file yesterday but could still file today since the holiday would provide the same logistical benefits as a Sunday.

All of these scenarios are scary at best. None of the famous characters have the sufficient balls to provide the real actual company situation; all of us have been hurt by the greed of KM and surrogates. No one knows at this time if they are closing, reducing, selling, BK or else until the infamous HQ post whatever they are going to post until sometime tomorrow or Wednesday, then will know. After the posting and checking with your bank your last paycheck, then if closing, dismissing, BK or else, PLEASE verify with your State as to how to apply for unemployment benefits, not before, also verify with your health insurance plan up to what day you have health coverage. NO TO COBRA, no one can afford it; remember HUMANA, UNITED & AETNA are going out of the HealthCare Act. These are situations that none of us created or wanted, but it is a reality of life

The way health insurance benefits work for any employer, at any time is that if you have deductions taken from your paycheck, you are covered. If your deduction came out of a paycheck with a pay period beginning or ending in September, you have coverage until the end of the month. If the pay period ended in August, you were only covered through August.

Because no one has seen a paystub yet, we don't know whether the deductions were taken or not. I've seen a lot of postings with people saying that they did not see any deductions for benefits taken, without seeing their paystub. I'm guessing they think this because of the amount of their deposit? If I base assumptions on my deposit amount, it seems as if there are deductions and that I've been paid for this Monday and Tuesday. It's the only scenario that adds up correctly. If this is the case, I will have benefits through the end of this month.

To those saying they've had nothing deposited, you will see it by Tuesday. They sent deposits out Friday and while some banks, credit unions will process that right away, others won't because of the holiday. My deposit hit on Saturday, yet shows a date of 9/6/16. This is most likely when we'll finally see our paystub.

There's no termination date from ITT Tech. They cannot cancel health insurance without notice. Call Cigna, may be a limit on their end.

Probably because you tried to order a 90 day supply and the max you're covered for is 30.

ITT probably discontinued the health care coverage in August.

I don't really know, but usually if you weren't laid off Thursday, then you were covered so I would start with cigna and find out what's going on. Might be something simple on their end. Good luck
