Thread regarding FMC Technologies Inc. layoffs

Looks like it is going to be Nov. 1st!

That way they will not have to give everyone their earned PTO

To @JMCPTkd-1ndj - your stupid is showing: loosers is spelled losers and demize is spelled demise.

To @JMCPTkd-1qsx - a lot of this information is correct although it may be off a week or so. Our HR is infamous for leaking information, mostly from telling a friend who tells a friend etc. This pipeline has been very accurate so far. Sometimes when the dates don't seem accurate it's because HR has delayed the layoff for some reason.

You people are in a dying industry and a dying company. If you loosers have not updated your resume and not actively looking for a new opportunity, you are a fool. And I am talking not just about supervisors. VP's, directors, managers are all targets. At this point, your company is down to the worthless s---ups and brownnosers which will accelerate your demize. Get out!!!

  1. Your supervisor hasn't talked to you in six months, about anything.

  2. There are team meetings and training sessions that you don't get invited to yet everyone else in your department is attending them.

  3. You haven't been assigned any high visibility projects in awhile. All those projects are going to interns and new hires. Your only involvement is when the boss sends the newbies over to your office to ask questions, get direction on how to proceed or you are assigned to check their work to make certain they got things right.

  4. You've been around for 20 or so years and no longer fit in to the new way of doing things.

That's what I hear too. Odds are if you can make it to December you are safe for another 6 months at least.
