Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Most of the Posts here are real, no trolls , these are real stories that Granny Meg and Company do not like to hear

BTW, most of the posts here are real. Ask yourselves, why do these posts exist now and not before ? say 1 year back or 2 years back. The massive layoffs brought on by the greed and personal ambitions of Granny Meg are real, all she cares about is her own image and bank account. She has no interest in retraining employees that is if they actually needed it in the first place and in most cases they are many times better than their replacements in India. Her part of brain that deals with Innovation has been empty as ever so no new business can be had in the emerging technologies, leave that to Amazon and Tesla and others. So the only way she can shine or seem to shine is by laying off people here in the US and find replacements in India and making the books look good.

Trust me people are getting laid of by thousands and the others reading the posts here have first hand experience of it and they come here to find out when is the ax falling next.

@pke - its this HPE #AgeDiscrimination - thoughts?

It is really happening, it is just not widely announced that xyz got the package nowadays and it is being targeted at the older community. If you dont believe that look at the company in the midwest that is filing a class action discrimination lawsuit on behalf of older hpe workers.

@J0T1Anm-pke... I found very interesting your comment about older workers. To be honest, I haven't thought about that, but now that you mentioned it... HPE has been moving some tactical roles to Slovakia during the past years that were previously done by people with lots of years in the Company (and when I say lots of years, I say LOTS of years). Most of the staff there are people in their 20s... On paper, it's not age discrimination, but transferring the roles to a lower cost Country... Now that I think about it, it's age discrimination... in disguise... HPE is really good exploiting tax and law loopholes...

I agree, most of these post are real. Take it from a person who was recently WFRed. The people who dont want to believe it are probably the younger people who have nothing to fear. We hired 7 graduates in January. In June, 7 experienced people were let go and the new graduates replaced them. Not one of the new graduates were let go. Management has told the group to brace for another round in the beginning of September. It is really happening, it is just not widely announced that xyz got the package nowadays and it is being targeted at the older community. If you dont believe that look at the company in the midwest that is filing a class action discrimination lawsuit on behalf of older hpe workers.

The part about no retraining is true. I had a couple of managers that wanted to hire me during WFR redeployment but both of them came back and said HR strongly discouraged my rehire for some reason (performance was always exceeds or meets)
