Employees should never feel comfortable, or that the layoffs are done. The precedent has been set that layoffs can occur anytime and will even be done more frequently.

(jyd here) I thought that message was only for the VSP folks, @pyk. if they didn't take the package, bye-bye VSP.

@JYD Good to know you are enjoying life. Smart move !

Many retarded didn't take ERP and will now get ISP via project inefficiency cuts etc. Ofcourse it is known that the same people were the target, from the beginning, but they failed to see the hint.

Not everyone offered ERP are "grannies" @phz. All you need to be is be age 55 (plus 15 yrs service) to qualify for retirement in Intel's eyes. It's called the Rule of 55.

Thanks to Intel, it's how I was able to retire early. ;) I hit the rule and waited patiently for a package. OK, so I lied. I wasn't so patient about the wait. lol

Yes. A lot of project efficiency, BU-specific cuts that were notified end of June have their last day on July 31, unless they were able to move to a different positio .
