Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Top heavy Intel = 387 Divison VPs, 24 Executive VPs, or 24 Corporate VPs

You can find them here.

https://newsroom.intel.com/biographies/appointed-vice-presidents/

Those that social climbed to the top - trampling over their peers, brown nosing their managers over the years, playing the politics field. It is a very top-heavy company.

More than half of these VPs should be laid off or retired. Old geezers who do the least work and have very little to contribute to the future of Intel.

@taf 280k I assume is base salary. They make their money in options (what are those again) and the bonuses.

387 VPs is about 200 too many.

For a company Intel's size and reach, the number of Exec VP's / Corporate VP's seems about right.

They can save a lot of money getting rid of 50% of them.

why do you need 24 Corporate VPs, 24 Sr VPs/Executives, and 387 Division VPs at $280k a year each - or $115,080,000 in base salary each year?
