The Warn act only applies if the total number of employees being terminated is 100 or more at one location or 1000 company wide. If so then the company must give 60 days notice to the affected employees or continue paying them for 60 days with full benefits. There are no federal laws requiring a company to pay a severance. Zenith did however offer a severance of 2 weeks pay to people who were rifed before, but you had to sign away your legal rights to get it. Good luck
@Gycz1oJ-1prd, Florida is a Right to Work state, W.A.R.N. does not apply here.
How many were let go today?
Online employees-look up The W.A.R.N Act before you sign anything.
