Who will be held accountable for realigning lines of product to one team and then realigning it to another, causing loss of money and labor?

When will you all take a $1 salary and pay the company back its $1 billion? When will the words "shared fate" be spray painted over with "LOL JK"???

When are you going to let go of lazy tls like Emily from the sw region? I'm currently there and she's brought the morale down. Look at how many people quit right around the holidays.

When are the Core Values going to be rewritten removing team member happiness? What happened to Gainsharing?

@lxb: These dog and pony shows are pointless. All the managers do is deflect serious questions, toot their own horns about every last thing, and celebrate the softball questions. The classic example is when Glenda (CFO) reacted to a question about why we were opening stores at such a rapid rate, given that it was harming her region's ability to keep up, make adjustments and properly serve internal customers. She tried to make the asker feel bad with her snarky response, "We're changing the world. I don't know about YOU but I want to change the world as quickly as possible." We're not the ones being snarky. They are. They are not interested in addressing thoughtful questions in a candid and forthright way. This is all about spreading an appearance that we are all participating. WE AREN'T, except as trained monkeys whose job is to pretend to be interested so they can pretend to answer, so we can then act as if we're enlightened and clap on cue. Nothing to see here.

  1. How does whole foods plan to deal with the palpable anger team members are feeling due to perceived mismanagement? (Besides firing tms with 'bad attitudes'

  2. What is the target full time to part time ratio?

  3. What is being done to combat cronyism and nepotism?

  4. Will we ever see the 'investment in lower prices?'

Who cares? It's only a townhall! Goes in one ear and goes out the other. They are not here to listen to you but themselves. This is a smokescreen for the investment public! Go back and refer to other TownHalls! If this company had listened to its employees over the years, then it wouldn't be in shambles! Let's not forget 2 CEOs that know it all, why now listen to your employees?

I want to know why theyd rather have lazy, complacent lap dogs than people who put in hard work and actually give a shit about all the problems they harp on..

How much do they spend on new store development per store on the average?? Can we " take ownership" of this?? Or is "it is what it is"???...moving forward..

A lack of response would lead regional and global leadership to believe they are doing well. Just respond truthfully. Ask hard hitting questions, but do it right. If you come at them with anger and snarkiness you won't be taken seriously, sadly. There would be nothing wrong in asking why our prices can't be aligned across the board, how realignment to different departments seems to present a challenge that cannot be fixed with more realignment, why they chose to lay off so many before the holidays without a strategic game plan to keep the stores in working order, etc. But if we "boycott" them and continue to bitch and moan on this website then you're basically laying down and letting them do what they want. This website won't enact change. It's a great sounding board at best and rumor spreader at its worst.

The best way to respond to these Town Halls, surveys and so forth is to boycott them. Deny them an audience. But I do hope someone asks why not turn the 12 regions into one or two and give the rest of them a pallet jack and tell them to get to work!
