No offense, but you guys were terrible anyways... No help at all to the customer. Don't take that personally, but it's business.
Terminated with no fault of your own should vest all RSU immediately. Trump will make this happen. Make America Great Again.
Hi,
Is this true? I mean technical incident engineers from Broomfield are axed ???
"restricted" in RSU implies that the stock is subject to forfeiture while unvested.
There is set of things that may qualify RSUs for forfeiture, one of them is voluntary or involuntary separation.
If you are separated for any reason, any unvested RSU is forfeited by the company. With 30+ years of professional experience I've seen my share of layoffs, I am yet to see a situation where the company that's laying off people allowed unvested RSUs to vest prematurely.
@sch:
It depends. If your RSU has already been vested, it is yours. If your RSU has not been vested, it is voided on the date of your termination.
Ah, so 4 month severance + they didn't rob you of your bonus. That's an okay package then. You lose all the RSU?
All of Broomfield?
Stay on payroll until 3/30 with benefits. Then after that a 2 month severance. 2k for cobra payments, 1 week for every year with VMware. Plus you get 100% of the bonus from the yearly earnings due in Feb.
That's pretty bad package if true
@yzi - what news?
2 months + $2k + 1 week extra per year with VMware has been reported in the news
what was severance package given?
