Yup, I learned about the layoffs via a Mike Lawrie video pushed to all employees on the morning of 11/10/2015, then my boss called me and read a sayonara script to me after lunch. The company split was done, now they needed to cut more costs so the stock price/and the company would be more attractive to investors/buyers.

Well m sorry for you my friend. This is the harsh reality of IT world. Not sure about the evilness of your CEO but yes Indians are the mainstay of IT world. Be it CSC or any other A listing IT firm.

Many people in the finance department got the same note. Benefits ended immediately. Unless you have been there at least 2 full years the severance was two weeks. This is a company that treats employees like scum.
VP took out high paying people who worked 55-60 hours a week and left the low pay 40 hour week people. CFO and CEO want to hire more single people, more Indians, more young people, more inexperienced people. Customers will suffer as a result. CEO is the absolute worse executive any of us has ever experienced. Evil, Evil, Evil.
