I was just wondering if the next round is going to be all store. Also, will there be another round of closure before the final round of closures? I have been hearing too many rumors and I am not what to believe and what not to believe

The last large batch of stores are still liquidating until Feb 16. I'd give it another 35 days or so wait time.
This leaves a total of 174 FL Seaes and Kmart stores left under TransformCo.
1 Kmart, 2 Sears
Des Plaines IL Kmart is a ghost town with empty shelves evenly distributed, esp. The pharmacy. And home goods.
I can walk there but I don't go there now. It's gotten too depressing.
A dying store.
It is my belief that there are no actual go forward stores, those 66 will be the final wave of closures.
@1iyl Miss POPCORN. Yes there might very well be 66 going forward. OR....maybe there isn't a closing list now and the remaining 177 go forward (at least for now)? Unlikely, sure, but all we seem to Know is that 66 stores got a notice about the manager thing. But that does not, in itself, guarantee the others (not on that list of 66) are closing right? Maybe they just didn't get that particular notice yet? Just Saying......
No way are they going to operate a chain with just 66 stores. I can't predict the future, but that's not it.
It sounds like the notice only went to Sears stores; Kmart has already been on that model. Is 66 as an exact number confirmed?
There are copious amounts of rumors outside of this board that there will be some sort of news on Tuesday or Thursday. I will say on my own behalf that even though I have heard these rumors, I have seen no proof and I have not been able to pin down a real point of origin. What we DO know is that there has been a directive sent to 66 stores that their ASM's are being converted to hourly pay instead of salary. It would be a relatively safe bet to say that those 66 stores are not on the next closing list and will be essentially the last ones left. The smartest thing to do is to pin down the 66 stores that got the directives from HE, and you will have your next official and off list closure stores. The official closure lists are usually just short of 100 stores, It's my best guess is that the closing list will be 96 and 15 off list closures.
@12Q9EugO-1dsg Um, NO it hasn't. People posting threads titled "MONDAY", "TUESDAY", "WEDNESDAY", Etc., are just spamming and are NOT answering the question pal.
@12Q9EugO-1dsg... Respectfully no this question has not been answered officially yet. Alot of “teaser” type posts claiming to know when, but nothing official yet. My personal opinion, it seems like transformco has been tight-lipped on any future closings.
@1dsg It has not been specifically answered. Best I found was "I 'think" somewhere in January", or these troll threads where people post Random Days like "TUESDAY", "WEDNESDAY", Or Whatever. I haven't seen any specific, singular, irrefutable proclamations of Exact Announcement Dates, with proof. Again, my question remains unanswered.
@onr this question has already been definitively answered. you were just too dumb to see it.
This is primarily the only reason I visit this site. And nobody has been able to answer this question yet. Which DAY will these closings be announced? Anybody?
No idea what day exactly but I definitely think there will be another announcement sometime this month. And if this announcement won't be the last one, it will most likely be the second to last one, with the final one coming in March or April.
