Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

No Layoffs due to the 737 MAX

Source Below (Oregon Live and Others):

Boeing said it doesn't expect any layoffs as a result of the production halt "at this time." But layoffs could ripple through some of the 900 companies that supply parts for the plane.

No good will come of this, not for anyone. To be joyful of others burdens is to
defecate in your sleep. In your dream it may feel warm and fuzzy but you’re
waking day will be filled with regret and stench. The ASPD symptoms on display
here will continue to grow more pronounced. If you’re not already in Management
you should apply for the Boeing Leadership Program. For you are already on par
with any one of the current members of the Boeing Board of miscreants… 😂

Does anyone have to work at Boeing to understand the situation? 😂 all you dumb–sembly monkeys don’t get it do you? 12,000 people with no product to build=layoffs.
Everett can support a lot of ppl but not 12,000 surplus employees. There’s no where to park.
On top of that your CEO will no doubt look at lay offs as a cost cutting Measure to stop the bleeding.

You do not work a Boeing, U do Not Know anything, U know of nothing.
The reason for your presences is unclear, it’s as troubled as your mind.

Always no layoffs. Until there is.
Nothing is guaranteed. It is just PR to not completely destroy the company reputation, what is left of it anyway. Almight $ is still king, and we worker bees are just a number with a cost tag to it

@pea Why would the bean counters allow you to take a long paid vacation when the company is bleeding cash and taking debt to keep the lights on? You union boomers really are dumb and so out of touch with the real world.

The articles say "no layoffs YET". Does not mean that it won't happen. How can they continue to pay thousands of people to just stand around? No business in their right mind can operate that way and survive. It's just wishful thinking to think that WARN's wont be coming soon. Might as well tune up the old resume in the mean time. You might need it in 2020. You should worry about Chap 11 and that it could effect jobs and pensions.

Hopefully it never happens. However it is too early to claim no layoffs. There is no timeline or end in sight for this massive f@#k up. If there are layoffs it will just be a paid vacation away for a while and not much will change as you can sit at home playing on your smart phones while collecting a check. Basically buisness as usual.
