Big cuts to North America teams in November.

Customer and operations teams are still oversized. Cuts for November.

This company is phukt. Give it another year and the headcount will be a fraction of the 3400+ currently. Cheers!

Hiring proper leaders - nonsense. We already have the best. Look at all the successes they keep having and the great products that we’re all building together. Would you rather go back to the Cisco days of faceless suits with great haircuts?

Engineering is utter rubbish. We have no vision nor drive to design and develop a product that rattles the market. Start with hiring proper leaders first.

Synamedia is weak. The company in total reactionary mode. Shedding will continue. You will learn that.

@11wTGGWH-dacv - *Engineering are the people building the future. They have the vision, seriously.
Get rid of all the parasites in sales, marketing, support, “Ops” and invest in where it’s needed - engineering.* Bear in mind that nothing happens until a sale is made. Those "parasites" in sales are the reason any company needs engineers. But remember engineers keep the engines running, they never captain the ship and for good reason.

Take as long as it needs to build a great product and then the customers will come. You must be early in career with a statement like that. Take as long as it needs...right, and then your competition will beat you to the market. You may ultimately have a better product, but better is a relative term. Once a customer commits to a competing vendor solution it is extremely difficult to win the business back.
