Thread regarding McDermott International Inc. layoffs

Cash flow STILL a major problem

Company wide vendors are cutting off services. Examples of impacts: Large and Small Valves, Steel, Electrical Cable, Instruments, Gaskets, Crane Rentals, Trucks, Concrete, Gases, Waste Disposal, Security and last but not least; OEM Vendors.

I don’t think we are allowed to name specific vendors here...but anyone who follows this company knows who the big OEMs are.

Multiple OEMs are requiring McDermott to secure bonds or payment in full prior to shipping.

A McDermott bankruptcy is unlikely due to their implied sale of Tanks and Technology, but in the interim; asking McDermott to secure bonds or pay in full has been a struggle to overcome.

This is a Oil & Gas problem.
This is a Offshore problem.
This is a Power problem.
This is a Tank problem.
This is a organization wide problem.

Doesn't have to be against company policy. They can fire you for any reason not prohibited by law.

Generally can't trade on insider info. So DONT TRADE.

Cash flow problems are on the Q. And every supplier knows they aren't getting paid. NOT secrets.

Employees complaining about bad management or bad treatment ARE NOT SECRETS.

WSJ publIshed story on AlixPartbers. After it was published it WASNT A SECRET.

So what are secrets? Maybe a drive full of data on RFPs taken off a computer at TechnipFMC?

If that reporter's contact info is legit, they're asking someone to provide insider information. Certainly against corp policy if not the law. I believe Bloomberg was one of the sites that started the MDR bankruptcy panic. Probably wants to make a name for themselves by helping to crush the company.

Because it is a bot?
Or because she is part of a decentralized group of West coast hackers?
Or because it fills in Anonymous by default?

I don't know ... awfully suspicious! But if it's fake, would you be fooled if the name were filled in? Or would that be too perfect and so more suspicious? Is this reverse reverse psychology by some MDR mad genius.

Or are you the company shill?

For f—s sake!

Key indicator will be if and when operators start pulling projects. A standard part of contractual T&C’s is financial stability.

Mess with my money and I’m gone! I won’t give them a second chance to make it right!

People think just because we work in an engineering office that we are safe. We are at a higher risk than those lucky people billable on a project. They want to outsource all of us to Mexico City.

Further evidence that all efforts are being made to make weekly payroll and pay interest payments on debt.
