Thread regarding Resideo Technologies layoffs

WOW!!! Resideo Stock down -3.77 (-24.75%) after hours after announcement

So they release "preliminary" numbers and look out below! Like releasing some now and some later will make a difference. What a truly valiant effort to spin this t ur d . Its also "adjusting" its EBITDA ....good luck. The fact you have no products, talent or anything else is finally coming to a head. Maybe you can find a way to monetize elevator speeches, non-delivery and Slideware, you would be google, amazon, Apple AND Microsoft combined. Maybe they will hand out crash helmets as bonuses this year...lol

atoh - you should stop with the dramatics. The only black soulless people involved are the ones "leading" this company. Cruel, incompetent, arrogant, egotistical and treat people like garbage who have dedicated their lives to this company. all for their own gain. Making decisions that impact peoples families with no data to make the right decision and all the while k–ling the company and what we have built. I'm not the OP but you should be angry at the id–ts who k–l this company and its people little by little and are the reason the stock prices is down 70 plus percent with a bleak future.

@aewd - Whether your opinions or right or wrong, only a soulless, black hearted person like yourself would root for and enjoy the demise of 1000’s of livelihoods.

9sql - LOL...you were never on top to begin with in the connected space or any where. You gotta be trolling because that's just hilarious!. Hows Buoy coming?...thats game changing for you guys isnt it? Didn't it just get pushed out again due to massive issues with bad engineering and not being able to get it working with your "software" (for lack of a better term). Storm? another game hanger....still on the drawing board after 2.5 years? whats game changing about that baby? shaped differently? lol.

Don't worry. It will come back up. Once our game changing products are released in a few months hit the market, we will be on top again! Stop with the drama and negativity.

They have made such great acquisitions so far. They can't show any revenue from them at this point and are having trouble integrating them while other acquisitions are being done in the industry that will deliver immediate impact. If these small acquisitions ever pay off, hopefully the people that are responsible for them are long gone and someone that understands the industry and what our customers want will be making the decisions.

Are those people who said that the so called game changers (quicksilver, katana, titan, storm) will save us still think the same ? I actually think they will make things much worse. no new product is in the horizon to change the direction this company is going.

Looks like they canned the CFO....ah that's awful...he was such a great guy and knew his stuff. I hope that's just the beginning but its too late. Like turning on the pumps after the titanic is already at the bottom of the ocean.

I guess those people with “good sources” that told them numbers were good, should find some new sources. It’s going to be ugly around here for awhile.

What technical incompetent technically vetted the Buoy acquisition? There were obvious problems with that product in design and manufacturing.

What’s funny is that they are now so incompetent they acquired that Buoy piece of junk and they can’t stop sinking money into it as they can’t even use as is. So they wanted to buy instead of build and now not only they have bought but they will build. Double whammy and costs. I bet they promoted some director over this. Lay-off are coming but not for them

No worries stock went down to $10 after hours. Let’s keep those incompetent software directors and manager and promote them . Slack is the way to go.... actually they should replace all software with slack. I wonder if it can replace TCC in the cloud. Let’s launch a project to slack off TCC!
I can’t stop laughing so hard I am on the floor.

Maybe they can 3d print some products instead of Halloween decorations... I think they should create a new Slack channel to watch the stock implode. #RealTimeChapter11

Maybe the "water Lady" can spend more money and ask if the stockholders have anything to be proud of like she did with the employees.

Train wreck.... All product GMs should fired. Software development leadership should be fired for focusing on Slack more than delivering results. Manufacturing needs to be outsourced and right sized their global footprint.
