Yes double and triple their workload

Change their hours andwhen they ask if they dare, tell them they are needed for that time slot.

Poor managers get promoted so they can push their hard working competent employees to quit. Very intentional strategy. It's a money saving technique to avoid giving any severance.

@11Av6srt-zlr I agree with you and it doesn't matter where/who you work for. Unless you are self-employed or work for a family run business most of us have no idea how long we will be in our current positions. State Street is a large corporation and some of us who worked for them for several years, gained good financial services experience and either got promoted or transferred to a different position entirely. Try working for many of the small companies where you many times receive lousy benefits, and have no chance for advancement. Just an FYI, I have been in the work force for many years and are close to retirement age. Not currently working for State Street but it was one of the best companies that I ever worked for !!!

The best CEO the company had was Marsh Carter. He treated ever employee as an asset not a liability. Because of his attitude workers gave 150% +++++ .

Then sadly he retired and in came the bean counters who's only job was to cut cut cut , outsource.

Hey speak for yourself I’m not having relevant skills. I keep current I take courses I learn languages and yes I still love my job at state street. If it goes it goes I’ll find a new job but I don’t feel the need to up and leave through attrition. No job is forever

He/she sounds realistic and truthful to me ....not bitter.
All you deniers....what will it take for you to see the old Clipper Ship for what it is?
It is taking on water fast and the only thing the Executive team does is line their own pockets while making their way to the life boats all the while knocking the women and children out of the way.
