It happened in September. Not sure what everyone else is on about but yes people were laid off in September (actually 9/23)
The round of layoffs, as most surmise, was based on cutting people who were in the company and were paid at the higher end of salary. Obviously there were outliers at the company who weren't working at the company for say 6-10 years. But yes there were firings.
Secondly, yeah Allscripts also fired quite a few people last December with many people's last days being December 13th - two weeks before Christmas. I've been at the company for 10 years and I have seen people hired and fired. How I am still there? No idea.
