Anyone have a guess what date layoffs will start after the immediate close tomorrow?

@9ifn - The lucky ones are those who are being laid off with the COC package. I wish I could receive it, but I'm in a group where it won't be offered. We're the unlucky ones. It's extremely depressing thinking I'm going to be working as an Oxy employee until I find something else.
Layoffs are going to be sooner then later and anyone who thinks is safe should think again.
Management should be interested to have people excited to work for Oxy and not being present in office thinking that they were played around on their rights. The COC money while it sounds a lot and it is for each employee, it is nothing compared with the drilling cost for 1 well. Employees walking around and piling paper from one side of the desk to the other corner of the office, will not be productive for Oxy.
The tone of management's actions will be clear very quickly on their ability to execute an acquisition successfully and manage a double in size organization.
Rumor is that the VSP offered to Permian employees will be in line with the CoC and there will be no restrictions on who can and cannot take it. Too bad it’s not a golden parachute like all the executives put together for themselves but at least it sounds like we aren’t getting screwed.
Hopefully the entire HR department will get the axe after they have had their fun giving out the walking papers to everyone else.
The axe has started to fall folks. Many VPs are gone with their golden parachute. We probably won’t be as lucky.
I think they will lay off contractors first. I would not be surprised if they did that by Monday morning.
The layoffs will begin Thursday morning, similar to March 10, 2016.
Oil down to $50 I bet they'll layoff 90% of darko.

Do people really think there will be layoffs tomorrow, other than exeutives/VP's? Give it some time, they're still scheming up ways to get rid of you, but without your COC.
I think it will be Thursday evening since People are on a 9/80 schedule.
