10DeaEYb-1bny Legal requirement in Ireland is 45 days consultation before dismisal (for 200+ redundancies). If BRCM wants to close the deal on 1 Nov/choose employees then they need to start consultation on 17th Sept.

Dublin will know by 17th Sept.
I think by the second week of September.... if they want this done before the deal with BC concludes they need to jump on this asap. This is a personal opinion however.
Also did anyone see Proofpoint trolling us in a recent blog? They mention 82% sales cut... not sure where they are getting that from?
Hard to know...some say people will know in early October whether they are asked to stay, stay temporarily or will be RIF'd. One external source for California employees is the California WARN notices. Companies must identify the number of employees who will be laid off 60 days in advance. WARN notices are published on the 10th and 25th of the month.
