Remember all of the people Facebook Google employees rejected, looked down upon, seen as beneath them? Many of those still have jobs, tech jobs, well paying jobs. They will now decide if you get to have an interview.

I'm sorry to hear about everyone going through layoffs. I'm one of Google 12k and know the feeling at getting that heartless 2am email. It's taking forever to find anything. Every job post has 500+ applicants.
Severance was good but that doesn't matter. These company execs suck at planning their businesses with the overhiring and now thousands of people lose their jobs every month. Never been so stressed and pi---d off.
This is reality of business. Only think about yourselves because these ahole execs dont give a fk about you. Fk em
