@zvm the whole reason this board is such a great place to make new friends is that AI is going to replace ALL of that as soon as February and NONE of it will be Intel driven
@wtx... when Intel drags Apple down with it you get to have 2 losing companies on your resume back to back. Your next job will require you to ask do you want fries with that unless AI replaces those people too.

What would Apple stand to gain by acquiring Intel? Toxic culture, processors way behind their own and fabs losing tens of billions of dollars to produce nothing but Powerpoint slides? It makes zero sense for them.
Why is this a "threat"?? INTC is cash poor, struggling chip maker, led by mediocre to incompetent management and staffed by bottom of the barrel engineers being paid below market salaries. AAPL is a rich, successful company led by great management and staffed by the best engineers money can get, and moreover has the ability to crack the whip and extract maximum value from Intel? This can only unlock value.
