Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

One of the worst transactions in American history

AT&T bought DirecTV for more than $67 billion, including debt, in 2015. MoffettNathanson Research analyst Craig Moffett wrote in a report Monday that the completion of the DirecTV sale would “close the books on one of the worst transactions in American history.” Moffett has a Neutral rating on AT&T stock and an $18 price target, which is nearly 20% below the current price.

And the executive in charge is still there! Go Stinky!

One of the problems with ATT is Stinky gets 26 million a year, Randall Stephensin get 64 million in benefits and the MF before him gets 50 billion. ATT can't keep paying these salaries while their losing. Stinky keeps laying off at the knees instead of lowering salaries at the top. ATT will never win until they start cutting at the top. Stinky is ruining the company plus that 6 billion arrogant deal with TMobile, Stephenson brokered.

"employee attrition through RTO mandates will compensate."

Yeah. Or they could have NOT thrown away $67B and done that anyway.

You lose a $20 bill but win $100 on the scratch off lottery the next day, you're still out $20.

Under the terms of the purchase agreement, DIRECTV will acquire EchoStar's video distribution business, including DISH TV and Sling TV, in exchange for a nominal consideration of $1 plus the assumption of DISH DBS net debt.2 days ago

It wasn’t the worst. AT&T is notorious for destroying companies. Look at the history, they buy companies and dissects them. They knew what they were doing which is why the FCC tried stopping the SBC merger. AT&T never cared about companies, they care about their shareholders, dividends & bonuses. I can’t believe you all haven’t figured out that yet. I bet Dish will take on DirectTVs brand name and boost will absorb cricket, keeping cricket’s name.

Ah yes, one of the Stink's major accomplishments that got the Stink the top spot on the CEO Wall of Shame.

And the BoD keeps the Stink, and pays him multi-millions bonuses for a job well botched!

Stink is a P O S!
