VMWARE people don't be concerned with this, we are just talking about the annual layoffs that occur every year at Broadcom as Hock tries to increase the revenue per employee. This is an on-going goal and something that happens at least once per year, and in some cases, depending on the business can occur monthly, quarterly, etc.

@fhf+1hExe2Bg. ding. ding. ding. you win. i've been saying this since announced, this is going to be a little different. if you're in AoD or SED...be vigilant. my guess are the moldyframe guys will see minimal direct impact , but they'll be squeezed in 2023.... hang on tight boys and girls...

Get ready for layoffs. If there are duplicate jobs with VMware and Broadcom, don't think VMware job will go and Broadcom job will stay. It all will depend on who has the better product and which team can deliver in time and with high quality.

I've worked in the industry for 30 years. I never saw anything like that, and never thought I would. This place has become a complete clown show.

Why? We'll just boss around the VMware guys to do the work and take credit for it. Going back to sleep.
