@2zcx+1u1MGd1N Thank you for proving my point... another Intel simpleton who doesn't understand reading comprehension.... "Most of the CHIPS "money" is tax credits after they spent the money."

@wuo I believe if you look at some of the SEC filings, it wills state how much they are getting from various governments, but I recollect it was in aggregate form, so you can't tell which country it's coming from, or which specific benefit they are getting. If you prob dig into the SEC filing details, you can prob find it. However, some of these benefits may be captured elsewhere, such as R&D tax credits. I know in the past, certain R&D expenditures were worth a 25% tax credit, so it was essentially a 25% discount on whatever they called out as eligible.

@zot speaking of simpletons… it is a combination of grants, loans, and tax credits. There is more to it than you obviously don’t know. So some of it would in the form of cash.

That money immediately went to the unions to build a giant empty POS.

This just shows the low level of intelligence of Intel employees today. Most of the CHIPS "money" is tax credits after they spent the money. Only a mo--n would think that the US transferred cash to Intel's bank accounts. To make it easier for simpletons, think of EV tax credits or Energy Savings rebates, credits, or write-off for high SEER HVAC or install of solar. It reduces the taxes Intel would pay, or carries over as a tax benefit into the future.

The facility where the guy was whacked at work (Ocotillo campus, Chandler) was built with this money.

We got it and right into the pockets of our leadership. With new golden parachutes. The government should step in and force the board to revoke these upgraded severance packages.

Sums up Intel...

Parasites.

The US taxpayer gave you $8.5billion.
The Irish taxpayer gaves you at least €32 million.

Isreal? Maybe another 5 billion.

You guys need to take a long hard look at yourself.
