The real concern is even if this industry were to “de-wokify” itself, leadership already lost so much goodwill the audience is never coming back, regardless of how quality the content might be.
the names that most older people grew up with like “nbc” (or abc or cbs) are ruined forever, ESPECIALLY with the target demo. It has nothing to do with left vs right, it’s the woke pencil pushers justifying their jobs with DEI campaigns vs like 95% of society that have all gone to watch real people with real opinions and real talent online
The entire media industry is going down the drain. Politics got in the way of quality content. Even so, quality content was few and far between. Get woke, go broke on steroids!

the sad reality is hollywood is dead. everyone stopped making fresh material 20 years ago and completely lost the attention of the target demo, so they tried to reverse the revenue trend by going hard on the politics of VC investors but that's only made things worse.
