Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Consultants hiring and politics has increased again

Unfortunately consultants hiring and politics has increased again. There should be strict restrictions for hiring consultants. Vendors leverage layoff scenarios to make their business.
Seems Citi will never change and go in spiral of death

Doesn't make sense with all the layoffs that consultants are being converted to FTE's? Can anyone explain please?

At all locations the FTE counts are less than consultant and the latter enjoy more resources than FTEs.
Additionally, they easily convert to FTE with salaries much higher than long term era.

greedy execs need to go.

nepotism needs to end.

cronyism needs to end.

corruption needs to end.

only way citi will ever fix that is by officially removing all nepotism hires, including the executive board. and they start running this company like it actually holds trillions in assets.

I find it concerning. The leaders are so lost and so out of touch and have no idea what to do, that they have no other choice but to hire someone from the outside for direction.
