There is nothing unethical about spending a lot of money on such an elegant event in the same month as so many staff are being laid off. Our leaders and customers are worth it.

Hey we are a private company. Accordingly no issues about events for senior management. Senior management provide invaluable service to the company and not paid properly. Nothing to see here. Also, most of our staff don't work in Australia.
The Concur expense claim system is the best ever.
