Recently offered a VP Product Manager role after six rounds of interviews. I am based out of the Dallas office, curious how roles at this level are? Everyone I interviewed with was great but I would love some perspective.

So what is this post all about? OP has probably started their new job by now or maybe they are fishing for information to put on the resume or use in the upcoming interviews. I do not believe the 6 rounds of interviews for a VP role. Something does not add up as I have interviewed a few people in the past.
Hello,
My name is Rachel Dalloo, and I am a reporter for Connect Money in New York. I am posting this message in hopes of getting access to an internal memo that went out to JPMorgan employees stating that the CEO of JPMorgan Advisors, Phil Seig, will be retiring.
While I do understand that this is a layoffs section, I would deeply appreciate your help.
If you have access to this memo, please contact me at rdalloo@connectmoney or at (646-392-5066). I will keep your identity anonymous.
We dont need em go back to the village you h1b!!!
@1fr 100%, we need PMs with technical background. All the misunderstandings and extra meetings with tech teams will go away. When asked to show business values in dollars they do not have an answers. I talk to the business directly when I can and move on.
If I ever become a PM lead one day which I don't see it happening. I am a SWE by the way. I will force technical PMs to do a system architecture and coding interview plus the additional case studies as required. They don't know what the f they are doing. I strongly believe a regular PM should not be a PM of a tech team.
Yeah do the needful needful! Based on this post it sounds like you are not vp material...
If need insights, you need to provide information first. Which LoB, which product, etc?
@zf Cannot help to agree here. I am not going to get into details, but I see what they do.
So you’ll prepare decks and talk and not do any real work. Product managers = useless.
She doesn't want to share this must be a fake post. Fake fake fake
@OP You better share your salary first, and more folks will answer your questions
@OP please share your package here, so people may give you advice
