Agilent mgmt throughout have nooo clue today on how to run this company. Their idea of cost cutting is to cheat its non exempt employees out of their wages. When they are doing the hard labor. The culture and values of agilent has changed over the last 2 yrs and its not for the good.

Morale at my location is very low. The old timers are wearing blinders and didn't see any problems. Sales are down, and management retreats into meetings.

Agilent seems to have initiated a stealth layoff in early June staying just under the the WARN reporting threshold of 50 in the state. This makes the third year in a row of layoffs in the 1-3% range at Agilent. This suggests the leadership is not in control of performance. They seem to be pursing a strategy of reorganization and purging of people rather than questioning their business strategy and investment model when they fail to achieve their goals.

It appears Agilent has lost the momentum and talent it inherited when it was spun off from Hewlett-Packard. It has lost the acumen and spirit of it's parents culture.

I don't think things are looking great. Deregulation on the cards here in the US with the new administration is not good for business.

More layoffs werent ruled out at the Town Hall either after a question about them.

I expect massive cuts but it's just my gut feeling as I expect the economy to crash.

I may be wrong but we'll see
