Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

San Antonio Texas

The switch yard is empty. It appears that trains are been rerouted.

PSR is all about reducing dwell time. That's why the yards have less cars.

That is correct. The only thing I want to come to San Antonio for is the Tacos!! Shut down the yards! Thanks for contributing!

@yzw I think there might be some interested parties that'll have something to say about closing most locations. No one really cares about what your HQ source says. The stock price is falling, and the decreased staffing levels is going to trigger more problems for Vena very soon. You can believe your HQ source if you want, because you'd be about the only one that believes anything that comes out of that building.

It's a holiday week you cry baby. Too bad your source doesn't run you over.

Like my HQ source said….Vena wants MOST locations shutdown for good this time. You can believe me or not but when OP says his yard is empty, the evidence is right in front of you. You’ve been warned, if your location is in the middle of the country and less than 100 employees….Vena wants you gone forever.
