If you're in Ireland you can not be told the decission until 14th Sept due to Dept of Enterprise & Trade regulated 30day consultation period.
This allows 30 day for government advisory with Intel to try reduce the size of impacted employees.
Not sure why they have to also do this during a volunteer situation, but they do. 🤷‍♂️

If you're manager tells you to stay, it's because they need more time to plan on leaving your department or Intel using you as a resume builder for them.
