I honestly feel sorry for everyone that Dell decided to lay off. Cuts are one of the most stressful events in life and I hope that everyone affected will get new jobs as soon as possible. There is no doubt that there is still place for those with talent and skills in better companies.
I have not been notified (at least not yet), but on the other hand, I am worried if this is the beginning of an even faster downfall, after the company let great employees go to the competition.

Yeah they’re affecting fed too even though we keep beating those numbers up. Wtf. This is ridiculous.
Federal has seen cuts, just not as many. The last major RIF was in 2008

Do the layoffs affect the federal reps as well?
Don't be sorry, most people will come out better. It's downhill now at Dell and the environment is super toxic.
