@yos+1ur5ojgj: Let us not generalize QIPL as India. I worked at WIPL and it’s nothing but incapable and political work place. I complained to HR but no results. The main issue is locals from that area wants full control with no intelligence. People like me live QIPL and came to SD and it’s same here. Those same state people make a gangs here and stop progress of other people. This all known by HR and management but they trust their managers even though they caught supporting same village culture. Eventually I left Qualcomm and now I am happy not to listen to those incapable managers. Here people with intellectual capacity will suffer and eventually Qualcomm. I wish best for Qualcomm but I know it is not gone a survive longer.

Because no company in their right mind would do real R&D in India! Tech support, IT, simple DV, porting test software, yes. But nothing important, nothing innovative, nothing difficult...just bobble-head BS.
