More is coming in UK and US according to https://www.theguardian.com/accenture/2020/jul/01/accenture-to-cut-up-to-900-uk-jobs-as-pandemic-hits-demand. Probably Canada will have some.

Layoffs are not finished. All levels impacted. Will keep going through end of the year. Julie, and co, need to cut aggressively to keep their bonuses. I've never work for a company that talks so mush about the well being of their employees but, at the end of the day, really doesn't give a s&%$.

How do you know the cuts would end by 6/12?

I was part of recently acquired rapid development company who worked in a team environment. We were repeatedly told that the chargeability metric would not be applied to us, that we were an exception, that as long as we continued to drive value we were protected. At the same time, the message from Accenture Industry X leadership was that we were all in this together, that the company was strong, etc. Yesterday I got a surprise email and was summarily fired for low chargeability. It basically puts a lie to everything they say. Accenture is concerned with only one metric: the quaterly P&L for their stockholders. They have not changed since the boiler room days of Arthur Anderson and Enron. If anything, they are worse now.
