@1ywe+16CNenhS you are correct, the Union had nothing to do with the crashes. But as the union is so fond of pointing out, the company had issues BEFORE the MAX.

It was not union members that left junk in the fuel. Oh wait, you are going to say it never caused a crash and its QAs job to make sure you clean up your mess. No personal responsibility and no big deal.

Its not union members that have driven up the cost of making aircraft. Which is why part of the 87 moved to SC and the rest will soon.

Its not the union who voted to k–l pensions for a one time lump sum.

Its not union members not wearing masks on the shop floor, oh wait, no pwrsonal responsibility again, that's management's problem.

It wasn't the union that caused Boeing to sell the Wichita facility because of rising costs.

The unions have as much or more culpability in Boeings demise as the BoD and management.

FYI

Union had nothing to do with 737 max crashes

Union had nothing to do with 787 outsourcing debacle

Above all union had nothing to do with quality of shoddy work that comes from non-union BSC on 787

All the recent debacles that came out in the news were creation of Boeing corporate not the union.

Most of these clowns are from SC and don’t work at Boeing. Read for amusement, that’s all they’re worth.

@ylu+16CNenhS you're right the union didn't cause the planes to crash, but having union security for alot of the bums that work there ans only have and keep their jobs because it's union, has contributed to alot of issues over the years. I still think its the best union Boeing could buy. The union has done nothing for us and kept rising our does. I hired in 2006 as a janitor making $9.47 an hr and union dues back then were a days worth of pay. The only reason the union wants boeing to stay here is because if they move they can't rape us for union does.

This is the worst “doom and gloom” site ever! And most of the time the info is wrong!

Yup.

Boeing transplanted the Global Services (after-delivery-services & aftermarket) business unit along with the union jobs to Texas & Southern California. Those jobs are are non-union positions with lower paid salaries/wages.

Boeing transplanted half the 787 program, but all the 787-10 derivative, to South Carolina. Those jobs at North Charleston are non-union positions with lower paid salaries/wages.

Boeing has also outsourced many of the union jobs to the BOEING INDIA business unit for even better margins by taking advantage of even far lower paid salaries/wages; while at the same time reducing the work force from Boeing Canada & Boeing Australia.

ex-CEO James McNerney (formerly with GE General Electric disciple of Jack Welch, aka “Neutron Jack") decimated the two (2) unions, which are just a fraction of what they were.

James McNerney is a supporter of Right-to-Work laws. States with Right-to-Work laws REQUIRE union contracts to cover ALL workers, even non-union workers not just the ones who are members of the union.

Studies show that states that have enacted Right-to-Work laws reduce the union’s bargaining strength, which ultimately results in lower wages and benefits.

No way! The Union did not cause the 737 Max to crash twice.
