I am sorry this is happening to you all. That being said, the writing has been on the wall since the CVS Aetna merger. It was not and could not end well. Covid helped put things off a bit and distracted WS from the fundamental issues at CVS and retail dr-g as a whole. But now the jig is up and the external pressures are pushing on one side while mismanagement is pushing on the other. In the middle is you. If you have stuck around through 2 rounds of layoffs, seen no stock improvement, and observe poor business results, I applaud your loyalty and optimism. But in the end you are hurting yourself.

I left 3 years ago on my own terms and it was the best career decision I have ever made.

Market correction happening not gonna stay down. Keeps going back up, keep your money in the market.

@ykx+1tRXOgxx needs to bone up on her history and see where the highest numbers of layoffs and unemployment occur. They are considered desirable by business to keep wage slaves in line.

Please vote for DRATS in November and we can live in Layoff fear and talk about job loss every three months for the next four years in this forum.

Severance is never guaranteed but CVs would be stupid to not give severance to someone in their warn period.

The warn period is just that - a warning that come ____ you don’t have a job.

But there is zero ramifications for you choosing to say “f-you” and just walk out at any point.

Thus severance often gets mixed because then they put in a clause that states it’s only paid after you work the full period.

If you want the money, you can’t just jump ship.

Severance can be often more detrimental if you can’t find a job willing to push your start date out.
