Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

I miss Shaygan Kheradpir

Hope all those dummies who were Disciples of Rami now see how they have been tricked by him. He grins at us all day long, talking about legacy and honor and pride. Bull! He’s smiling bc he just cashed in MILLIONS while selling us down the river and HPE treats us like dirt and pushes us out. Thanks for nothing Rami. Shaygan Kheradpir would have been better. Can we have him back?

@ym

Then you add CK to that list of bad hires puts Rami in a bad light

Rami grew the company about 0% over his tenure. Yes, Mist was the best acquisition as it saved JNPR. Under better leadership the company should have grown significantly. Compare it to the rest of the field JNPR was flatter than flat

Now speaking of PPA, this is probably the biggest mark against Rami. I mean how could you hire a clown like that? It’s really inconceivable. Brilliant guy like Rami. Hiring for a really important position. And a cursory Google search shows he’s a fraud.

Yep, we have a winner. Rami has done well and Juniper has done pretty well under him. The Mist acquisition was one of those cases where one home run wipes away all those strikeouts. Look getting $14B for the company is a successful exit. Now are we/ were we awesome? No. See Arista for that. But not a bad run by Juniper and Rami. The rest of these posts reaffirms my action of looking at this forum about once every 6 months. It’s a bunch of total silliness. Years ago people would post here about some good dirt on executives and decisions made. Now it’s just a bunch of cr-pola.

What the he-l are you talking about. The only person that would have written that about Shaygan Kheradpir would be Shaygan Kheradpir. He was corrupt and was kicked out for that reason. He was a horrendous man. Even attempting to chat up employees wives at a company event. Horrible. A dark period of Juniper history.

@rh

In some way shaygan was ahead of the game with his “big brain” idea. He got laughed at for talking about that idea and now Juniper was sold for $14B for that big brain we call Mist.

He was a poor poor CEO though. Really though who was worse in a “C” spot? shaygan, PPA, or CK? Not all had the same job but still had significant impact on the company

@rh Don’t bother trying to convince people here. But yes, SK was definitely a fool. He was ousted as soon as the board figured that out and in no way would Juniper have survived him.

Shaygan was a fool, and I felt embarrassed for him when I saw him (but as a fool, he didn't know he was a fool). I like Rami, always have. So he gets a big payout -- that's the job and nothing wrong with it, at least in these times and culture.

Name 5 things where Rami has "destroyed" Juniper or been a bad CEO. If you failed under him, that's not the same as he failed Juniper.

Well, just take a look at where 3Com is today after they were acquired by HPE. Maybe the third time will be the charm with juniper.

Congratulations Rami to destroy Juniper Networks!

Agree Scott and Kevin were better. But rami has been worse than Shaygan and that dude literally was the worst.

The best IMHO was Scott.. During the time of Kevin, the culture of the company started to go downhill..

Shaygan was terrible, not to say Rami was any better. The best CEO that juniper had was kevin johnson. But he was forced out.
