My agency friends are being laid off and others have taken 30% pay cut. Why? Why does not ford considering taking 5% of my salary and try to keep them on job? Is this ONE FORD ONE TEAM? I feel appalled when a person who gave 10 years of his service to Ford as an Agency employee is being asked on a friday to go HOME to never return. I hope the senior management read this and take 10% from all salaried too and protect everyone. We all are humans living in a bad era fueled by Pandemic.

Advantage is the worst contracting firm around.
I had a 10% pay cut plus 20% of my hours cut so yes that was 30%. Now back to 36 hours so still a 20% pay cut. I've been with Ford for 26 years with 10 being direct. Outsourced in 2009. Currently with Advantage Technical Resourcing.
I also agree .. 10 to 20 % cut across the board to save all the jobs..

Ford uses agency labor is so that they can reduce it based on need and they are not carrying the same costs to employ the individual as a Ford employee..
Yes....pd agency employees got laid off friday.....lot of h1b ..through altair....they have 30-60 days to find another one...or go back to india.....
After Bill and Jim are done laying the latest guilt trip on you , you’ll probably end up donating a weeks pay to the cause

The reality is that it is a One Ford Team only when sacrifices have to be made and leadership deem it so. They pull this concept out of their rears to try to motivate everyone and have them unite. All other times? It's every person for themselves especially upper management.
I concur we all should take 10% pay cut to protect everyone. But we should make sure the ones at the top take minimum 60% cuts.
