So if I were to get a CPM package, I would get that on August 5th ? If not I am not expecting to receive it ? What's the deal ?

@xnw+1tOFI8oT, thanks this has some good information in it that anyone thinking about taking a package should consider. The actual package information is probably much better than what is currently being offered.
From 2022, but might be useful:

With voluntary it takes a month to wind down & leave once approved. And watch your package - the spreadsheet gives you an ***estimate of the payout when you apply but they are cagey about the final numbers. At that point, you're already out the door.
I thought applications open on the 5th and you have three weeks to apply. & you’ll be notified Sept 1st if you are approved by BU.
I think you get the package on August 5th if you are selected by BU. Then if you decide to volunteer you submit the application and they review it and let you know if accepted or rejected by Sep 2nd. If accepted then your last day is September 30th as an employee with benefits.
Then you get your payout per the estimator calculator.
If you decide to not volunteer for CPM or the BU rejects your CPM application then you wait for the ISP round that starts October 1st.
If you do not get the CPM email on August 5th then you are not selected by BU for CPM.
Applications just open then. No payout until weeks after that
