Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

A few people here are saying they decided not to sue

If you had a strong case, why not take legal action against Intel? Holding them accountable could teach them a valuable lesson. People who let things slide are often why companies like Intel continue their practices without consequence.

They aren’t loyal to Intel. They are loyal to current goons and cronies running the place. They are Charlatans supporting criminals hiding behind a Intel facade

Intel is better at counter suits than it is at making chips.

I'm honestly surprised no class action has come from the scrubbers being off in D1 for a few weeks a couple of years back. When they listed all the health issues people could have from those fumes being kicked into the fab instead of out..Shameful.

@OP+1w2MkO7R , "Holding them accountable could teach them a valuable lesson", it is easier said than done. Especially when the care takers of the justice system favors these big corporations even when these big corporations are in the wrong.

@xgq+1w2MkO7R, what happened to that case? when was that case filed?

You just blew all the brainwashed sheep’s minds. Save Intel or save the current leaders of Intel. Who are you really loyal too? The current leaders got us in this mess. Are they Intel?

Agreed if you truley love Intel and you are super loyal you would sue to ensure Intel changes and betters itself. I know it’s counterintuitive but you would be helping improve and make Intel stronger by such actions. You be helping changing bad practices and cutting out the cancer. Forcing Intel and its products to better. The question is if you don’t sue who are you really loyal too? Intel? - no Yourself - no ….

How exactly is blocking you from other employment? Because if Intel is reaching out to other employers that is a whole other can of worms that I promise you Intel does not want to even think about doing or attempt. It is a very very bad look for them and won’t end well for them as well

Yes. In addition to the stress of job uncertainty, take on the stress of suing an entity with deep pockets, full time legal team, while likely blocking yourself from any meaningful, future career opportunities. You'd better have a good case, mental and emotional fortitude

Definitely sue if you have a case. Hold them accountable. Do it for Intel. To save and make Intel better. So Intel can correct itself and get rid of the many bad actors.

Why don't people sue? How much do you expect to recover from if you sue? Now subtract the legal costs and the value of your time and effort from the recovery amount. The negative number you are looking at is the reason. Plus as an added bonus your name is now publicly tied to a legal action against a former employer. Prospective future employers might find that information of value.

Intel is total chicken-sh*t of lawsuits. Any and all employees that received abuse at the hands of Intel should sue. It is easy to do and the courts in most states will completely favor the employee. The client attorneys representing employees know this. Intel also knows this and usually settles long before any trial or official court hearings -- for the same reason mentioned above -- everything in court IS public and Intel hates bad publicity. The discrimination and other types of court cases are permanently on record detailing the company's atrocious illegal behaviors. GLTA.

Look he was far-ting in the halls. Far-ting in people's cubes. He had to wear a diaper which was fine, but then to far-t and hear it splurging out right in your cube was too much. I don't care if he was an EE. You can't smell up the place and expect to keep your job. He could have worked from home, but he insisted on embarassing himself and everyone else. And guess what. Former AMD employee. Yep!

Speaking on someone I know that went through this (not me personally) the type of lawyers that happen in these cases will do anything to discredit you, all of it will be public information and could ruin your job prospects in the future….and the monetary pay out could take years. A lot of people don’t want to go through that
