HR “Business Partner” my ar-e. Over paid clerks who hide behind a ticketing system, process, and hierarchy. They have no idea about “talent” and no value, especially to people managers. But make sure to do your SAP Talk which nobody ever reads, oh and the pulse survey. This next comp cycle will be ruthless sh--e.

This question is baffling. HR is invisible to those of us actually doing productive work. No one knows who they are, and they're generally unreachable anywhere. Sack 'em all.

As for "recruitment partners", there's another joke. Third-rate lazy dirtbags. Why do we pay them, when we're not hiring, and they add no value regardless?

SAP has had an unusually weak HR function since I’ve been here. If you need a concrete example, HR organizations are supposed to handle the s-xual harassment situations - by handle I mean address them before they become public news and lawsuits. If the goings-on over the past several years show us anything, HR has been asleep at the wheel. The liabilities for SAP keep mounting with each Teutonic fanny slap.

@x1+1wfV49qA you miss the purpose of HR, they are there to make sure corporate are covered when whatever sh-t they decide to do. They are not you're friends, they are there to make the company safe

HR is powerless and useless. No clue about the actual day to day. Word salads of pop psychology created by AI and terrible processes.
