@ws St Louis office will be closed within the next 2 to 4 years. No more hiring in STL. St Louis still gets to work remote.
@w4 Everyone else will get the email tomorrow (7/29). New policy will take effect March 2 2026
@db Rick is just finishing what Walt started .....
@vw Did it say when everyone will be notified?
@vy To paraphrase Will Turner:
"At least once more Miss Swan, as always"
I wonder how many more times our esteemed EC will change the rules of the game on us.
@gk It's 40 miles to the midpoint of the zip code you live in. Source: Preview email sent to PL's today.
@jd 50 miles is fairly standard and part of our policies
@gk >50 miles? That’s over a two hour drive each way! I am not sure how accurate that can be.
Starts end of Q1 2026. 4 days in office. WFH day is your choice. Exceptions will be gone unless you live >50 miles from an office.
Rick is just as bad as Walt
Good thing most MDS are remote anyway in a city with no Schwab office wonder how that will work forced relocate?
Heard four and five. Why four when five is coming makes no sense. We need a work slowdown.
Good luck getting the MDs to come in 5 days. They only come in 3 like the rest of us
I’m hearing in-office 4 days a week for rank-and-file and 5 days in-office for all MD’s
Just absolutely love when companies play stupid games to force people to quit.
@a4 probably same as usual. 6 months reapply
No joke. It is coming. Don’t know what the changes are or when but leaders are preparing for these changes once released. Guessing soon…
What about existing remote exceptions?
4 day RTO for all, announced by the end of this month. Unknown implementation time, but assume Jan 1.
