BP tightens workplace relationships policy after Looney dismissal

All because one guy couldn't keep it in his trousers. Don't know why senior employees who admitted they knew for years didn't report him earlier. If his conduct was openly discussed in the London financial district, he must have been conducting these relationships openly.

@1mfa+1sXZuXEL I wish one of you had recorded this guy being escorted out, then put it on YouTube. LOL.

Keep the good times rolling. There will always be new and naive employees to keep the gears turning.

The rest of us will leave the sinking ship someday.

Ask why our former CFO at bpx got walked out by police. These inappropriate relationships are prevalent across the business. Tug on that bpx string and see what you unravel.

@biq+1sXZuXEL Bertard reckoned 50% of his working life was travelling on business trips, so may we assume he wasn't going to bed with a cup of hot milk when away from home. LOL. Yup, I think the self-important, self-indulgent attitude started with Browne.

Brownes stints in New York and his business trips to South America are well known about. That started it.

@wqu+1sXZuXEL The UK Financial Times wrote an article about the culture at BP which encouraged this type of behaviour. It seems to start with Lord Browne and his Ninja Turtles who were like 'the chosen ones'. Whatever they did, there was a blind eye turned. They even got to choose which jobs they wanted to do.

The policy is a check-the-box to close out investigation finding. They don't get into the culture that allowed this stuff to happened and the Board and executive team pretending they didn't know about it.

Apparently, Murtard declared his relationship when he was appointed CFO. How long had it been going on prior to that? They don't think the rules they make apply to them. Rules only apply to the little people'.
