Does transformco offer any paid sick leave benefits?

I believe the govt is paying people for 2 weeks if they are out because of the virus.
Geez, when I worked at Sears you got paid sick days after 10 years...is that not true anymore?
And yeah, great idea, to have sick people working.
@wqi+13Yz5nmL that's actually not true in the case of the coronavirus.
An email went out stating that if you have to miss due to CV then you will not get an occurrence. You won't be paid for any time missed though.
Under normal circumstances, you go get the occurrence though. Been there, done that, got my whole department sick because they wouldn't let me stay home. Fever or not, I was told to come in or get hit with occurrences.
There is no sick leave... you don’t come in, you don’t get paid... which I get... but if we ARE sick and need to take off we shouldn’t be held accountable and written up for it... when you are sick you can’t help it! And for havens sake we don’t want to be working right next to other people who are sick and who should be at home!!! My whole dept was sick this past month and nobody took off because they want to get paid... but what’s crazy is I think at that point a manager speaking in the best interest of the dept, if they see someone sick SEND THEM HOME!!!! Managers just let the sick employees stay and infect others it’s just so stupid when it could be prevented. I hope the recent events will help companies see what they are doing to employees
Yes there are great sick leave benefits. Many are trying to catch corona on purpose, just to revel in the glorious perks offered to those infected.
Cheap Eddie only cares about Cheap Eddie and his cohorts. Not the vendors and definitely not the employees.
They will pay in points.
They don’t do diddly squat for their employees except lie and say things will get better when they don’t! Ha!!!! Paid sick leave???? Unless is mandated by your state you are SOL unless government comes along and changes things.....
Some states mandate a minimum amount of sick time but no sears does not offer any. They did put out a memo to all employees though saying attendance points will not be tallied during this time of crisis but you aren't getting paid if you need to take time off.
Nope. If you take off, not only do you NOT get paid, you get an occurrence. Collect enough occurrences, and you're out the door. They don't give a rat's you know what about you.
Why? You thinking about applying for a job?
