Boeing is a good place to start for a young person but not a good place to stay very long. Just get your
work experience and move on. There’s other better companies out there than this company. If you stay too long, you’re wasting your time you can make a lot of money elsewhere with less headache.

I see the bot has been busy again.
@wq+1jmmx1kky nice of you to catch on. Several people have made posts about it.
But it's unlikely a BOT/HR evening up the votes.
Most likely it's someone who has never worked at Boeing who is living in their mom's basement.
This company is the worst by far on several parameters, it is less than mediocre, just plane dangerously incompetent, if Murphy's Law was a company.
Have you noticed the BOT / HR trolls have changes the reactions on this thread? For each comment now the upvotes = downvotes.

Sad to hear there is worse than BA out there.
I knew a work colleague who used to work at Honeywell. They laid off his lead, then gave him his lead's job as well as his job. Then they laid off two other workers and gave him their two jobs. This worker was given 4 people's jobs. He was working 70+ hours a week. When I saw him, I told him he looked like $%!&. He said I know, I'm looking for another job. He looked like death warmed over. That company almost ran him into the ground. I believe he would have died if he stayed. When he gave 2 weeks notice, they asked him if he could stay another month. He was polite and told them he already made a commitment with his new job.
If you think Boeing is bad, just try looking at the Layoff.com Honeywell Aerospace page. Firsthand experience here, there is much worse than Boeing out there.
People need to be reminded that for new college graduates aerospace engineering has the fourth highest unemployment rate. This data was during the period Boeing had to close the Moscow design center, and even with that it was the fourth highest unemployed, college major.
Aerospace is a dead career with high unemployment and frequent job changes. It’s not recommended
Steering away from any Aerospace company is the wisest decision any young person could make. I educated my own child in another industry to insure his happiness. Good luck to all.
I don’t recommend anyone taking employment in the aerospace industry if you have another option.
Boeing does not treat their employees as well, but the aerospace industry in general is similar.
You have a handful of companies you can potentially work for and defense. Budgets are limited to a handful of programs.
It’s not a good career if you can’t find employment somewhere else, I would highly recommend it
Agree with this post. Get 2-3 years of BA on your resume, but not any longer than 5 years. Staying at this company too long will ingrain bad habits and wrong thinking. It will damage and embitter you for future jobs. Not all aerospace companies are as corrupt as BA.
It wasn't always like this. The 70s - 90s the company was a good place to work.
