If anyone who deserves to be laid off is the incompetence of the PMO Manager Linda Foggie who works remotely and has no clue on the technical aspects of a project

Laidoff Risk: I have not been back so haven’t seen the questions. Most of us could seen the signs for a while, a lot of our work had been slowly pulled from us. Last December we were told changes were coming but it wasn’t clear all of us were going to get outed. It was a big call lots of heads of department. As to which team, I’m under Marco not sure if other teams are being impacted. At the beginning of the month we got the official call over 100 people seemed to be impacted across teams all over the US. We were told our jobs were being send overseas. Anyhow, it’s what it’s, good luck to you all!

In addition to those layoffs already noted here. More are still happing in Risk and Controls. To hit 20k in layoffs, you would think they would have a big layoff and finally end this. Else a hundred here and a few there. That could be a long time, unnecessary and terrible for the people still there.

Post ID: @wn+1jnm5zkes In Risk "Management" and most likely other departments, the "Managers" are fond of saying, "So and so was caught in Phase 3 (or Phase 4). That's why he/she can not be contacted (for information about the institutional and historical knowledge they took with them).".

They "Managers" do Not even want to say the word Layoff after Phase Number-x. They want to distance themselves and pretend like they were Not involved in selecting specific employees to be Laidoff. Two-faced Snakes of course. The "Managers" believe that by distancing themselves and pretending they didn't have a hand in Fvcking Over the employees, the Guilt is removed from their shoulders. NOT.

Those Employees-Svckers did Not accidentally stumble onto the Layoff wave of Phase Number-x. They were pushed and specifically selected to be Laidoff. The Risk "Management" department is so FUB@R they do NOT know their AS$es from their Elbows. It's No wonder MRIAs and Consent Orders are NOT closed out.

Citi has at most until March 31, 2026 to complete and close Consent Orders, MRIAs, data architecture problems/Fvck Ups, etc.. This is only one year from now. Twelve months is Not a long time to get all of Citi's problems fixed. By next year, the Regulators will be drafting mandates to close and sell Citi in whole or in pieces. GS and JPMC CEO Dimon will finally get their Vultures' wish to eat pieces of Citi. LMFAO!

Wasn’t the fat finger error in wealth and a failure of risk/controls?

@f1+1jnm5zkes So sorry to hear that you and your colleagues were laid off. Did you find out this week or awhile ago and had to keep it confidential?

Sorry to hear about the layoffs. Did they tell you why? Don’t have to give specifics.
I knew it was bull cr-p about no more layoffs or just via attrition. I’ve been telling people more were coming and not to believe fake town hall meetings. Smh
